1. Logon to SIMs server
  2. Open Solus Deployment Console, right click and run as administrator
  3. On the Upgrades - Update Library select update to deploy
  4. Click download if not already downloaded
  5. Then click deploy
  7. The deployment can be scheduled for a date/time in the future or deployed immediately
  8. Click either schedule or deploy now
  9. Monitor progress on the Upgrades - Deployment History tab


To stop further SIMs logins disable the network protocols for the SQL server;

  1. Login to SIMs server
  2. Open SQL Server Configuration Manager
  3. Select SQL Server Network Configuration
  4. Expand and select your SQL server instance
  5. In the right panel, right click and disable the; Named Pipes and TCP/IP protocols
  7. Restart the SQL Server service for changes to take affect
  9. Complete upgrade
  10. Once finished re-enable the Named Pipes and TCP/IP protocols in SQL Server Configuration Manager
  11. Restart the SQL Server service for changes to take affect
