Deploying SIMs using the Solus console will install the Solus agent and allow automatic updates from the console.


  1. Logon to SIMs server
  2. Open Solus Deployment Console, right click run as administrator
  3. For a new PC;
  4. Click Environment - Targets - Clients 
  5. Click Add
  6. Select correct OU from the Active Directory structure
  7. Select PC - move to right panel for deployment
  8. Click add
  9. Enter ADM credentials with username: LEARNING\ADMFirst.Lastname
  10. Monitor agent deployment and installation from Environment - Agents - Agents tab
  11. For an existing PC that has been reimaged;
  12. Select the PC on the Environment - Agents - Agents tab
  13. Click reinstall agent from bottom of window
  14. Enter ADM credentials with username: LEARNING\ADMFirst.Lastname
  15. Monitor agent deployment and installation from Environment - Agents - Agents tab
